About the role
The Engineer, Tooling Design role at Molex is a full-time, on-site position based in Mabalacat, Pampanga. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and improving tooling and molds used in manufacturing processes, particularly for injection molding operations. Day-to-day activities include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, collaborating with manufacturing and mechanical engineering teams, and ensuring designs meet quality, cost, and safety requirements. The engineer will participate in tooling trials, troubleshoot tooling-related issues, and implement design modifications to optimize production efficiency and product performance. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to meet project timelines.
