Testing and Commissioning Engineer

Testing and Commissioning Engineer is responsible for ensuring that systems and equipment are installed, tested, and commissioned according to project specifications, standards, and client requirements. This role involves coordinating with project teams, conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth handover of systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review testing and commissioning (T&C) plans and procedures.
• Conduct pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and system commissioning activities.
• Ensure all systems comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders during testing phases.
• Identify, document, and resolve defects or non-conformities.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, checklists, and documentation.
• Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT), as required.
• Support system integration testing and performance validation.
• Ensure proper handover documentation and training to clients/end-users.
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental practices during testing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
• 2–5+ years of experience in testing and commissioning, construction, or engineering projects.
• Experience with building systems, MEP, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of testing and commissioning processes and standards.
