About the Role:
The Test Engineering Head role exists to define and lead the enterprise-wide quality and test engineering strategy, ensuring reliable, compliant, and business-ready technology solutions. The role combines strategic leadership with test architecture ownership, including designing scalable test frameworks, setting automation and non-functional standards, and embedding modern practices such as AI-led testing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define enterprise-wide test architecture and engineering standards.
- Define test strategies across functional and non-functional areas.
- Re-engineer strategy for Automation, Performance Testing, Test Data Management, and Test Environment Management.
- Focus on test strategy, design principles, and governance standards
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable automation frameworks.
- Design and implement reusable test frameworks and components.
- Drive CI/CD integration for continuous testing.
- Ensure automation efficiency, performance, and maintainability
Qualifications:
- Enterprise test engineering strategy, quality governance, and test architecture design
- Functional, automation, and non-functional testing (performance, security, resilience)
- Automation frameworks, reusable components, and CI/CD-based continuous testing
- Test data management, test environment management, and toolchain optimization
- QA tools, metrics, dashboards, and analytics for executive-level reporting
- Agile, DevOps, and scaled delivery models in complex programs
