Test Automation _ Playwright

As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and utilizing automation tools to enhance testing products and solutions. The role focuses on managing the end-to-end quality engineering function with an emphasis on automation to ensure improved control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous improvement of testing frameworks are integral parts of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with project goals.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize automation processes and testing efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Playwright.

- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.

- Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts for web applications.

- Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting automation test failures.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.

- Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.

Must have and Good to have skills:

Playwright, would be a plus if he/she knows any of the following techs as well: Selenium, Test Automation Strategy, API testing, familiar with CI/CD (Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab or similar)
