Test Automation Lead (AI)

We are seeking a Test Automation Lead to drive our automation strategy and lead a team of engineers. This role will design and maintain automation frameworks, ensure integration with CI/CD pipelines, and champion best practices across projects. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and stay ahead of emerging tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement test automation strategy, tools, and frameworks.
• Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.
• Develop reusable, modular automation scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution results.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to align testing needs.
• Review automation code for quality and scalability.
• Track metrics, report defects, and provide insights on software quality.
• Stay updated on automation trends and recommend new tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with proven experience leading teams of 5+ engineers.
• Expertise in UI automation (Playwright/JavaScript; Selenium/Java).
• Strong API automation skills (Playwright, Rest Assured, SoapUI Pro).
• Advanced test case design, including AI-assisted testing practices.
• Solid SQL, test data management, and cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Work Setup / Arrangements

• Open to working night shifts
• Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week onsite
• Willing to report onsite in Makati
