We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who will take ownership of feature delivery and code quality. You'll build robust, scalable applications while contributing to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance standards and processes within projects.
- Create test plans and design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases.
- Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot the existing test automation suite.
- Design and build automated test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
- Review and interpret business requirements, functional specs, and technical documents to produce effective test strategies.
- Execute various testing activities including functional, regression, new feature, and bug fix testing.
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize test cases suitable for automation.
- Track defects, apply fixes, and report testing progress regularly.
- Participate in defect triaging and customer issue resolution processes.
- Conduct peer reviews of automated test scripts and improve execution efficiency.
- Maintain and document test results, test plans, and test cases.
- Contribute to the evaluation and selection of automation tools.
- Perform tasks and problem-solving activities independently.
- Support additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience with Playwright using TypeScript web application testing.
- Experience with Appium using TypeScript for mobile application testing.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience using Python for data transformation and validation.
- Proficiency in SQL, including querying databases and validating backend data.
- Experience in automating desktop applications.
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, preferably open-source or community tools such as UiPath.
