Test Automation Engineer

The challenge is to:

• Strategic automation: Identify high-value areas for automation and balance automated vs. manual testing approaches.
• Design and develop test suites: Build robust, reusable automated tests that cover functional, integration, and regression scenarios.
• Test across layers: Validate APIs, networks, integrations, and user-facing applications.
• Detect and report defects: Investigate issues, document findings, and collaborate with developers to resolve them quickly.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and business analysts to embed quality into every stage of the SDLC.
• Framework ownership: Build, evolve, and shape our QA automation framework to ensure scalability, maintainability, and long-term impact.
• Optimize processes: Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing strategies, and CI/CD integration.

Do you have experience in

• 3+ years of experience in test automation within complex software/platform environments
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Katalon, JMeter, or UFT (UFT experience is a plus).
• Programming skills in Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript.
• Ability to design, write, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Awareness of UX principles to align testing with usability goals.
• Expertise in API testing, particularly with REST APIs.
• Experience embedding automated tests into pipelines and working with Git version control.
• Familiarity with testing in cloud environments.
