Job Description

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

Work closely with cross-functional teams including Architects, Testers, and Environment teams to gather the requirements
Develop, test, deploy and maintain virtual assets (vAsset/Stubs) in virtualization tools to implement the functionality
Drive continuous improvements, initiatives and optimize virtual assets and tools
Work with different teams to debug and fix any issues and enhancements to vAssets
Utilize Java scripting using Groovy and ECMA to build XML and JSON response
Perform Power shell or shell scripting to automate and optimize team manual activities
Seed test data for performance testing
Attend status meetings and debug calls to resolve issues and update the status
Work in DevOps tools and utilities using CI/CD pipelines including JIRA, GitHub, eSpace and Confluence
Develop Java code using Node.js to stub the functionality
Status reporting to management and guidance for the team
Create stubs using Test Service Virtualization tools via Rational Integration Tester (RIT)
Build RIT projects from scratch, and configure and maintain in RIT
Implement test suits and test cases for sanity and monitoring TSV environments health

COMPETENCIES

Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)

At least 5 years of end-to-end testing experience, Unit Testing, API Testing, SOAPUI, and Postman
At least 3 years of experience in Java, Groovy, and ECMA scripting for XML/JSON response building, plus Node.js for stubbing
At least 3 years of experience in service stubbing/mocking and virtual service development
At least 3 years of experience in Powershell scripting and Database/Test Data Management
At least 3 years of experience using DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Github, eSpace, Jira, and Confluence

Complementary Competencies (Good-to-have Competencies)

Working experience in Test Service Virtualization using Rational Integration Tester or other similar tools
Implementing Test Service Virtualization (TSV) in test environment using IBM's Rational Integration Testing for automation, PT & manual testing
Building RIT projects from scratch, configuring and maintaining RIT
Implementing test suits and test cases for sanity and monitoring TSV environments health
Good Communication and leadership skills

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields

Amenable to be assigned to a Night Shift schedule (7:00 PM 4:00 AM PHT), including possible on-calls and weekends for client support
