Test and Commissioning Engineer - Telecoms

Role: Telecoms Test & Commissioning Engineer

Contract: Initial 3-6 Months

IR35: Outside

Start: Mid July

Location: Glasgow (On-site)

Rate: Market Rates

Role Overview

Test Engineer required to support a major rail infrastructure project, focusing on CCTV, Public Address (PA) This role will focus on a project which is currently in the middle of test and commissioning joining a team looking for extra support. The work is based in Glasgow across a mix of days and nights

Responsibilities

* Testing and commissioning of SISS - CCTV and PA systems

* Experience working with IVEX or similar interface devices (desirable)

* Support station-based testing activities

* Work within a programme with strict delivery milestones and deadlines

* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment

* Competent engineers comfortable working on active station sites

Additional Information

* Mix of day and night shifts required

* Accommodation available

* Strong likelihood of extension
