Job Description:
The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships and/or industrial clients, and expanding market presence within an assigned territory. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, executing marketing initiatives, and ensuring customer satisfaction through strong service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Develop and execute territory sales plans to maximize market share.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retailers, and end-users.
Conduct regular visits to customers to understand their needs and provide technical and product support.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to management.
Identify gaps in the market and propose initiatives to increase sales and brand presence.
Operational & Financial Responsibilities:
Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors.
Manage sales forecasts and inventory planning to prevent stockouts or excess stock.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and credit terms.
Marketing & Promotional Activities:
Implement trade promotions, dealer incentive programs, and other marketing initiatives.
Conduct product training sessions and demonstrations for customers and distributors.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
