Job Description

The Telesales Officer is responsible for meeting sales targets for financial products and services within their assigned product/campaign. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth product knowledge to uncover needs in order to present financial solutions to our clients in order to deliver individual as well as channel productivity targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly productivity targets by delighting customers through sales via tele calling.
  • Contact customers via call and present the bank's product offerings.
  • Introduce competitive products and financial services to enhnace customer's engagement with the bank.
  • Provide recommendations and financial solutions to address customer's needs while providing excellent customer service to maintain customer relationship and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct inbound or outbound non-face-to-face sales activities regarding cards and loan products.
  • Support multiple revenue streams via cross-selling and referral of other cards and loan products.
  • Appropriately assess risk while conducting business by ensuring that they adhere to policies and approved processes at all times.

Experience

  • Graduate of any 4-yr course
  • Open to fresh graduates and experienced professionals. With previous sales/customer service experience is a plus but not required.
  • Highly driven and motivated to achieve sales targets and goals.
  • Has good communication skills. Articulate and confident in order to engage clients during call outs.
  • Has the ability to exercise sound judgement to be able to recommend and negotiate the best financial solution to address client needs.
  • Has positive attitude enabling them to work effectively with peers as well as internal and external clients.
  • A good team player who is committed to deliver not just personal targets but willing to work with the team to deliver business goals as well.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge on the bank's products Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Conveys ideas effectively in oral Tele-sales skill and persuasive/effective pitch skill Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel Tele-sales manner
  • Preventive efforts to manage customer complaints
  • Proactive attitude Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
