Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Telecommunications OSP Field Notes Reviewer to support quality control efforts across multiple software platforms. This role is responsible for reviewing outside plant (OSP) field data, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and verifying that all required information is properly documented before project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review telecommunications OSP field notes and collected data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Perform quality control (QC) checks across multiple software systems and databases
- Verify utility pole, conduit, fiber, and infrastructure documentation
- Ensure field deliverables meet company and client standards
- Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent data and coordinate corrections with field teams
- Validate attachments, photos, measurements, and supporting documentation
- Track and report QC findings, trends, and recurring issues
- Maintain organized records and project documentation
Qualifications
- Experience reviewing telecommunications OSP field notes or utility infrastructure documentation
- Strong understanding of fiber optic and/or telecommunications outside plant environments
- Ability to work in multiple software platforms simultaneously
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to identify discrepancies and missing information quickly
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Trimble, Fieldmaps, Katapult, Ike, IQGeo, or similar telecom software platforms
- Familiarity with pole loading, make-ready engineering, or fiber design workflows
- Previous QA/QC experience in telecommunications engineering projects
- Understanding of telecom construction standards and utility requirements
