Your impact
We are seeking a talented Telecommunications BIM Modeler to join our Project Delivery Team supporting Advanced Facilities projects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed BIM models for telecommunications and low-voltage systems, ensuring designs meet project requirements, BIM standards, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D BIM models for telecommunications, communications, and low-voltage systems.
- Create and manage BIM content, parameters, and embedded technical data within project models.
- Ensure models meet required Levels of Development (LOD) and BIM standards.
- Conduct model quality checks and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes and space conflicts.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Update models based on design revisions, project changes, and client feedback.
- Support model coordination activities and contribute to project delivery objectives.
Here's what you'll need
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of telecommunications and low-voltage system design principles.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and translate them into accurate 3D BIM models.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience using model coordination tools and common data environments (CDE).
- Familiarity with international standards and codes relevant to advanced facilities and data centre projects.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary BIM project environments.
