We are currently seeking an experienced Tele Collections Team Leader to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a collections professional with proven leadership experience and a strong background in tele-collections, particularly within consumer finance, auto loans, or motorcycle loan portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of collection agents, driving portfolio performance, and implementing effective collection strategies to achieve recovery targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Tele Collections Agents handling Motorcycle (MC) Loan accounts
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly collection performance to ensure targets are achieved
• Provide performance coaching, feedback, and development plans to improve team productivity
• Handle escalated accounts and complex customer negotiations
• Analyze portfolio trends and recommend strategies to improve recovery rates
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards
• Collaborate with Credit, Legal, and Field Collections teams to maximize collection results
• Prepare and present collection performance reports to management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2–3 years of collections experience, preferably within consumer finance, auto loans, or motorcycle loans
• Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory capacity is required
• Strong background in tele-collections or call center operations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and collection management or CRM systems
