The Role:

The main purpose of the Principal is to work with the support team to provide efficient and flexible technology support to internal clients and across all internal technology platforms, enhancing the recruitment process through innovative technology solutions

Key Accountabilities:

What you'll be doing:

  • Support delivery within the global Workday operating model, partnering with global teams and client
  • Represent client internal requirements and ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Coordinate between local stakeholders and global teams to balance business needs and system design.
  • Provide functional support across Core HCM (hire, job changes, termination, org structures).
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Assess cross-module impacts and support issue resolution.
  • Act as a functional advisor on compensation frameworks, plans, and review cycles.
  • Translate reward requirements into Workday-aligned solutions.
  • Support validation and issue resolution during compensation cycles.
  • Support functional processes across Absence, Talent, and Recruiting.
  • Ensure alignment with Core HCM and Compensation data structures.
  • Assist with reporting, analytics, and data integrity across modules.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, process flows, and impact assessments.
  • Support solution reviews, testing (UAT), and validation.
  • Escalate risks or gaps as needed.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 functional support and act as an escalation point for issues.
  • Coordinate with global teams and vendors for resolution.
  • Support change requests, impact assessments, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HRIS governance and audit requirements.
  • Act as a functional advisor to client internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate impacts, constraints, and outcomes clearly
  • Support HRIS/Workday projects, including requirements, testing, and validation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, user experience, and reduce manual work.

Skills & Requirements:

You'll need to demonstrate:

  • Workday (HRIS processes and configuration). In house or consultancy.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management (desirable).
  • Ability to complete and submit change request documentation for review and approval.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative team ethos.
  • Comfortable working in a remote or flexible environment.
  • ServiceNow (service request and incident management).
  • Microsoft Suite (documentation, reporting, collaboration).
  • Experience in large corporations
  • Workday Core HCM and Advance Compensation Certifications.
