The TechnoCommercial Lead provides technical, commercial & contractual support across multiple technologies, while providing essential administrative coordination to enable informed decisionmaking and protect business operation interests. The role acts as a subject matter expert in operational technologies, contract review, vendor performance, and risk mitigation, while also supporting the TCIS team through documentation control, reporting, coordination, and meeting management. Working closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure compliance, strategic alignment, and effective implementation of programs or programs, while establishing and managing a comprehensive contract database.
Responsibilities:
DIRECTION, TECHNICAL, COMMERCIAL & ADMIN
- Prepares technical and commercial requirements, analysis, reports and handles documents to support the Techno-Commercial team.
- Provides in-depth technical and commercial knowledge on operational technology as subject matter expert.
- Resolves complex, specialized techno-commercial issues.
- Develops high level, long-term technical-commercial strategies, including SWOT analysis and financial forecasting as necessary.
- Provides special project leadership and support as needed.
- Tracks TCIS Head tasks and projects to ensure appropriate prioritization of projects with respect to deadlines and organizational developments.
- Organizes internal and external meetings with the guidance of the TCIS Head, including logistical and substantive preparation.
- Supports O&M/engineering in reviewing EPC/OEM/Partner contracts; ensure risks, remedies, and obligations are clear
- Reviews contracts in coordination with Legal, O&M, Execution and Engineering teams to monitor performance of strategic vendors and partners.
TECHNICAL & COMMERCIAL COMPLIANCE
- Assists in researching and writing of standard operating procedures and the periodic review of the technical manuals, policies and procedures.

COMMERCIAL ENFORCEMENT AND CLAIMS
- Evaluates and manages key vendors, including technical and commercial evaluations supporting SCM for strategic vendor management.
- Follows standard operating procedures and complies with all requirements necessary to perform their job to the best of their abilities.
- Establishes a process to manage noncompliance & enforce contractual obligations of third party vendors or partners such as performance liquidated damages/penalties/remediation.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL AND STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION
- Works closely and coordinates with the different internal stakeholders on behalf of the TCIS Head for project updates, compliance monitoring and other project initiatives.
- Leads cross-functional teams to align technical capabilities with business goals.
- Supports PGPC and EPC related commercial discussions and takes minutes of the meetings.
DOCUMENTATION AND RISK MITIGATION
- Develops and manages a Contract Database in coordination with Information Technology (IT), Business Process, etc.
- Updates, maintains and safe keeps files, documents, reports and other official data or information
- Supports internal audits, compliance reviews, and external legal counsel where applicable.
- Participates in preparation of important documents relevant to the requirements of the organization
REPORTING AND COMMUNICATION
- Contributes to a high-performing team by being engaged in regular and ongoing conversations about achieving targets, improving capabilities and performance, and practicing self-discipline.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports on status, risks, claims, resolutions as per guidance of the TCIS Head
- Maintain constructive relationships with all parties
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial), Law, or Business, Finance, Economics.
- Preferably with MBA or Master's in Law or professional certifications in contract management, project management.
- At least 510 years of experience in technocommercial, contracts, engineering, or commercial management roles, with exposure to EPC/OEM projects, vendor and partner management, contract review, claims, compliance, and risk mitigation. Experience working with crossfunctional teams and providing project coordination and administrative support is essential.
- 2-3 years leadership experience
- At least 2 years experience in large scale industrial projects. Experience in project management and contracting is a plus factor.
