Job Description:

Applies electrical/mechanical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical/mechanical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry in industrial plants. This role is responsible for ensuring a 100% proper operation of plant facilities equipment and to troubleshoot any electrical/mechanical malfunctioning and complete appropriate repairs and maintenance.

  • Oversee Maintenance and Operation of Facility equipment, machinery, facilities systems.
  • Responsible for the ongoing physical maintenance and safety of the building facilities support systems and ensure all facility equipment are in good health.
  • Responds to customer/client requests, events, or incidents as they occur.
  • Operation & Maintenance day-to-day execution, Spares management, Equipment Status/ History record.
  • Ensure Safety standards are properly implemented during operation and maintenance of Facility equipment.
  • To execute all Maintenance Plan during maintenance shutdown and ensure that all sub-contractor follow planned activities.
  • To raise the issue in-case of any risk or potential ITP related to Microchip Facility equipment. To escalate Facility issues in-case of any incident.
  • To maintain Operation and Maintenance Record based on ISO standards.
  • To provide Daily Operations and Maintenance report.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or completion of Technical School in Electrical or Mechanical Courses.
  • Min. of 3 yrs relevant experience in Facilities Ops and Maintenance in Semiconductor Industry or Mechanical/ Electrical Functions in Industrial Plant
