Job Description:

  • Work with the Technicians/ Supervisors/ Engineers regarding the Hardware readiness, rework, preventive maintenance, and repair to support the manufacturing setup and requirements.
  • Ensures compliance to quality systems by complying with procedures and specifications (e.g., Test Hardware Repair and Procedure, Contactor Repair Procedure, Test Hardware Release Procedure, other HW related specs and applicable specifications. Participates in quality systems audit(s).
  • Conducts analysis, investigations and form the necessary corrective and preventive actions online/offline performance including but not limited to productivity, quality, and safety. He/she must be able to interpret each indicator and acts based on structured problem solving. Ensures that the decision-making is rational and based on pertinent data.
  • Initiates Hardware improvements and modifications (corrective maintenance) using pertinent and credible data to ensure that the objective of the section and department is attained.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and other support groups for manufacturing priorities.
  • Works closely with production and sustaining team in meeting On Time Delivery (OTD) Index.
  • 5S compliance within the area of responsibility
  • Work closely with the team, Senior Technicians and Superior to support all activities and programs related to the overall goals of the Hardware Team, and Maintenance Department.
  • Performs duties such as complying to company rules and regulations or government laws and codes conducting investigations or research writing technical, informative, or operational reports and papers or working on special projects considering his/her knowledge and experience.
  • Able to follow escalation proper for any major or minor technical issues to shift leaders.
  • Comply Standard Operating Procedure and follow rules and regulation set by the Company.
  • Understand and observe the Microchip vision, mission, and guiding values always.


Education

Graduate of at least 2-year Technical Course, Electromechanical, Electronics or Mechanical Technology.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Basic Electronics knowledge
  • Able to perform solder/de-solder
  • Good technical skills and knowledge
  • Skilled in computer applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Ability to work as individual and or as a team member.
  • Ability to adapt successfully to multiple tasks that occur in a rapidly changing environment
  • Hard working and highly energetic and self-motivated
  • Can accommodate flexible time and willingness to render overtime
  • Goal oriented
  • Full of initiative, passion, and teamwork attitude
  • Must speak and write English fluently
  • With Basic Statistical Process Control
  • Able to utilize HW debugging tools such DVM, Oscilloscopes, and other applicable equipment.
  • Hands-on working experience in Automated Test Equipment such as Nextest Testers (PT, HD, VT, GT, SV/SSV, PV), Credence D10, LTX Fusion MX, V93K, and other equivalent ATE.
  • Hands-on working experience in Automated Handler Equipment such as MT9510/XP, MT9918/28, RASCO 1K/2K/SATURN, HT9046, HT1028C, NS8160 and other equivalent handlers.
