Responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of assigned utilities mechanical and electrical equipment. These includes escalation of potential mechanical and electrical trouble to Engineer or Manager.
Competency Level:
Educational Background:
Graduate of 2 or 3 years technical or vocational course preferably related to Mechanical or Electrical technologies.
Experience:
Must have at least 4 - 5 years of work experience in an electronics or semiconductor industry specifically on Facilities Operation function.
. Must be certified on the equipment operation by OEM or other certifying body.
. Have excellent mechanical and electrical utilities knowledge.
. Can operate the mechanical and electrical utilities equipment.
. Excellent knowledge in computer systems.
. Excellent knowledge in mechanical and/or electrical diagnostics tools.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Performs regular inspection and check of mechanical and/or electrical utilities equipment. Spot
potential issue and perform adjustment to correct the issue. If not corrected, escalate to
Manager for corrective actions.
2. Performs preventive maintenance of assigned mechanical and/or electrical utilities equipment.
3. Properly record or log inspection and preventive maintenance results of every mechanical
and/or electrical utilities equipment.
4. Properly log mitigation action for future reference.
5. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and/or electrical utilities equipment.
6. Perform regular cleaning and lubrication of mechanical and/or electrical utilities equipment.
7. Ensure proper disposal of cleaning and lubricating materials used in cleaning and lubricating
mechanical and/or electrical utilities equipment.
8. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by Superiors from time to time.
9. Ensure that the company's commitment on environmental management, health and safety is
observed and performed.
