Technical Writer RPA Software Documentation
We are a fast-growing startup focused on delivering exceptional services to our clients worldwide. We're looking for a Technical Writer with a strong understanding of automation to develop high-quality documentation that supports a low-code RPA platform. You'll work closely with product managers, RPA developers, and software engineers, and customer education teams to create user guides, developer docs, process documentation, and knowledge base content that helps customers and internal teams get the most out of our automation solutions.
Here's what we're looking for:
Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and maintain documentation for the client RPA tool and associated technology
- Translate technical details of automation workflows into clear, accessible content for users, developers, and business analysts
- Create user manuals, configuration guides, runbooks, release notes, and integration documentation
- Develop visuals, diagrams, and process flows to support written content
- Maintain documentation versioning in sync with product releases
- Work within Agile development cycles to keep pace with evolving features and functionality
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably with RPA or enterprise automation platforms
- Strong grasp of automation concepts such as bots, workflows, queues, orchestrators, and triggers
- Ability to create both technical and non-technical documentation for multiple audiences
- Experience with documentation and versioning tools
- Comfortable working with APIs and basic scripting or code samples
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with RPA tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate
- Background in business process analysis or RPA solution design
- Basic understanding of scripting or low-code languages
