We are seeking a Technical Writing Lead to drive the strategy, clarity, and lifecycle of Vault Cloud's product documentation ecosystem. As a strategic leader, you will simplify advanced technical concepts like cloud architecture and APIs into accessible insights for both engineers and end-users, fostering a high-performance culture as we scale together. Balancing inspirational leadership with hands-on expertise, you will champion our leave it better philosophy, transforming our practice into a modern, high quality authoring function by establishing a documentation-as-code ecosystem and embedding stage gates directly into our Agile framework. This is a 100% remote opportunity open to top tier talent based in the Philippines.

You will be responsible for:

• Mentor team members through high performance leadership frameworks (regular syncs, strategic goals, performance check-ins) and lead recruitment to ensure candidates align with the company's values and capabilities.
• Transition the organization to a docs-as-code ecosystem, own the legacy backlog migration, and maintain a structured repository and asset map.
• Embed documentation stage gates (peer reviews, definition-of-done) into the Agile framework to eliminate documentation debt and advocate for communication empathy.
• Partner cross-functionally to deliver high quality API docs, user manuals, and runbooks while evaluating modern tooling, including AI-driven authoring frameworks.
• Execute continuous maintenance schedules and utilise documentation scorecards to prevent platform rot and ensure long term technical accuracy.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Advanced capability in people leadership, resource orchestration across squads, and managing centralized knowledge asset maps.
• Advanced expertise in Git-based version control, Markdown frameworks, and integrating documentation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong ability to document complex cloud architecture, networking concepts, SDKs, and APIs using modern tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman).
• Advanced skills in technical diagramming, workflow creation, and mapping out complex IT architecture.
• Solid proficiency working within Agile product delivery frameworks and enforcing documentation stage gates.
• Proven capability in cross-functional collaboration and Subject Matter Expert (SME) interviewing to capture tribal knowledge.
