About the Role
Integrated Computer Systems, Inc. (ICS) is seeking a Technical Writer/Technology Content Officer to bridge the gap between complex enterprise technology and clear, business-relevant marketing. Rather than executing digital marketing campaigns, this role focuses entirely on developing the technical substance and accuracy behind our content. You will work closely with our subject matter experts to translate complex IT solutions into compelling messaging for IT professionals and business decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create Technical Content: Develop accurate drafts and briefs for articles, blogs, website copy, social media, video scripts, and solution explainers.
- Translate Complexity: Turn highly technical concepts into clear messaging that highlights the business value and real-world use cases of ICS solutions.
- Research & Analyze: Investigate enterprise technology trends—including AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Data Center Infrastructure—and review vendor materials to extract relevant insights.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with Product Managers, Solutions Architects, engineers, and vendors to clarify technical details and ensure accuracy.
- Support Digital Marketing: Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team and provide the technically informed inputs needed to power ICS digital awareness initiatives and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience in technical content development, technical writing, technology marketing, presales support, or enterprise/B2B technology. Experience in a systems integrator or IT distributor environment is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong writing, editing, and research skills, with a proven ability to ask the right technical questions and extract business value from complex materials.
- Knowledge Areas: Familiarity with enterprise IT solutions, networking, and managed services. Knowledge of SEO/AEO principles and AI-assisted writing tools is a plus,
