This role is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining a wide range of customer-facing documentation, including quick-start guides (QSGs), user manuals, safety and regulatory documents, and other print and digital materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Development & Maintenance
- Create, update, and revise quick-start guides, user manuals, safety guides, regulatory documents, and PDF deliverables.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to brand guidelines, style standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare print-ready materials, ensuring proper specifications (page size, bleed, color profiles, file formats).
- Manage documentation timelines aligned with product launches and project milestones.
- Collaborate with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance.
- Work cross-functionally with Care, Marketing, and Sales teams to support product launches and campaigns.
- Maintain version control and organize documentation repositories.
- Coordinate translation and localization workflows.
Knowledge Base & AI Content
- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles to support customer self-service.
- Create and optimize content for AI-powered chatbot systems.
- Monitor content performance metrics and customer feedback to improve effectiveness.
Support Website Content
- Assist in developing and maintaining content for the Support Website.
- Ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with product updates.
- Identify content gaps and proactively create new resources to enhance the customer experience.
Visual & Design Support
- Design illustrations, diagrams, icons, and other visual elements for documentation.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure visual consistency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical writing, content development, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience producing print-ready and digital PDF documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience creating knowledge base or help center content.
- Familiarity with content management systems and documentation workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in consumer electronics or technology products.
- Skills in illustration, graphic design, or visual communication.
