The EXCLUSIVE distributor of Chery here in the Philippines needs a Technical Training Supervisor!

Below Are The Responsibilities Of a TECHNICAL TRAINING SUPERVISOR

  • The Technical Training Supervisor for Chery is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating technical training programs for service technicians, service advisors, parts consultants and other dealerships personnel.
  • This role ensures the skills and competencies are on company standards, supports continuous skills development, and strengthens service quality across the dealer network. The position requires a strong technical background, leadership in training management, and the ability to align training strategies with business objectives.

Training Development & Delivery

  • Design, develop, and update training modules (classroom, online, and hands-on workshops) for technicians and other Chery dealerships aftersales personnels.
  • Conduct technical training sessions on vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, new model features, warranty processes, parts operation, and safety standards.
  • Ensure training programs comply with Chery International guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
  • Curriculum & Content Management
  • Translate complex technical information into practical, easy-to-understand learning content.
  • Maintain and update training manuals, e-learning content, and reference materials in line with product launches and technical updates.
  • Training Administration
  • Coordinate training schedules, venue setup, tools, and training vehicles/equipment.
  • Oversee training registration, attendance, certification, and training record management.
  • Prepare and submit regular training reports to management.
  • Performance Evaluation & Development
  • Assess technician skill levels and identify training needs through testing, certification, and field audits.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and post-training performance reviews.
  • Support dealers in developing their training programs and mentoring dealer trainers.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Service, Warranty, and Technical Support teams to identify common issues requiring training interventions.
  • Provide technical input in dealer development programs and aftersales projects.
  • Supervise trainers, training assistants, or coordinators assigned under the training unit.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous development for training staff.

To be successful in this role you must be

  • A college graduate with a 4-year degree in BS in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or other related field.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer or TESDA NC III/NC IV in Automotive Servicing is an advantage.
  • Has at least 5-7 years of experience in automotive service, preferably in a dealer/distributor technical training or technical support role.
  • Has a hands-on experience with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and vehicle repair for both ICE and EV/hybrid systems.
  • Professional experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and e-learning tools is an advantage.
  • Has excellent presentation skills, communication skills (oral and written), strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • An individual with an in-depth knowledge of automotive systems: engine, transmission, electrical, electronics, chassis, and safety systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting DTCS (Diagnostic Trouble Codes).
  • Ability to train and mentor others.
  • Computer literate specifically on MS Office, management software, and OEM diagnostic platforms.
  • Can drive AT and MT Cars.
  • Willing to travel for field training and audit.
  • Capable of working under pressure and manage multiple tranings.
  • Has high level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Working pattern and location:

  • Join Date: March 2026
  • Employment Type: Full-time Employee
  • Work Location: On-site
  • Working Hours: 45 hours, 5 days per week (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
  • Workdays: Monday - Friday
  • Location: Lot 24 Blk 11 Commonwealth Brngy. Holy Spirit Quezon City, Chery Showroom
