The Technical Training Instructor directly reports to the Manager Technical Training. Likewise, Technical Training Instructor has the authority to prepare for, facilitate and document completion of training within the scope of his/her authorization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Writes literature and materials to be used in programs and designs exercises to enhance lectures.
- He / She is responsible for facilitating training courses as assigned based on his authorization and ensure appropriate conduct of the subject.
- Shall ensure complete and proper documentation of all the training conducted.
- He / She is responsible to determine updates on the training curriculum and presentation as applicable, prepare and formulate accordingly. Must ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
- Prepare training material and classroom agenda. Shall properly prepare all the required resources prior conduct of any training/s assigned to them as well as the complete documentation of the course conducted.
- Deploy training to targeted personnel and ensure that all of the students/attendees are strictly in compliance with the classroom etiquette and decorum.
- Assist technical personnel in trouble shooting and rectification analysis as well as mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
- Serve in the capacity of examiner and panel member when the need arises
QUALIFICATIONS
- Holder of a relevant degree in aviation (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aeronautical).
- Holder of a valid and current Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) license with airframe and powerplant ratings or a valid and current Aviation Maintenance Specialist (AMS) license with radio, electronics, and instrument ratings issued by Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) or Aeronautical Engineer License issued by PRC.
- Had completed or acquired the following trainings:
> The same training which they are going to facilitate within the preceding 24 months.
> At least two Aircraft Type Rating Course
> Preferred Course /Training/Experience: TTT, Aircraft Type level 1/2/3 training, PCAR, HFEM, EWIS, FTS, SMS, AIRCRAFT GENFAM
> 780 teaching hours per year
> Aircraft Rating immersion minimum of 40 hours per year
> With Airbus Maintenance Training Device Training
- Preferably with a driver's license.
- Preferably with a Passport
- Relevant Experience: ATO/AMO experience minimum 4 years
- Professional License Required: CAAP Aircraft Maintenance Specialist
- Skills / Competencies: Basic Avionics Skill training

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of the Philippine Civil Aviation Regulation and organization's procedures and documentation and acquired through formal training.
- Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
- Must undergo and passed the Demonstration Teaching and Technical Panel Interview.
- Shall have given authorization to conduct training courses.
- Handled General Familiarization Course and Level 3 Course
- Conducted Practical Training on any Type Rating Courses
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Able to teach or conduct basic courses for ACE and employees
- Able to generate exam questions as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Able to invigilate exams and check examination papers
- Able to generate completion resume and instructor's report
- At least with a minimum of 60 months teaching experience or at least Master Engineer A from Operations Department
- Handle Procs and Docs of local and foreign Airlines Costumers
- Able to conduct courses for External Costumers
