Technical Support Specialist Payment Systems

Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist – Payment Systems to provide operational and technical support for payment-related concerns. The role involves assisting merchants and customers, investigating transaction issues, troubleshooting payment concerns, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.

Compensation & Work Setup:

• Salary: ₱30,000–₱60,000
• Work Setup: Onsite
• Location: Pasay City
• Schedule: Shifting

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle payment-related inquiries and concerns through ticketing and support channels.
• Investigate failed, declined, pending, and unsuccessful transactions.
• Assist with card payments, bank transfers, APMs, and Open Banking concerns.
• Review transaction details and payment statuses to identify issues.
• Coordinate with internal and technical teams for escalations.
• Maintain accurate ticket documentation and follow established SLAs and procedures.
• Review payment-related documentation, including API documentation, to assist with troubleshooting.
• Provide clear and professional communication to merchants and customers.

Qualifications:

• At least 2–3 years of experience in payment support, fintech, payment operations, banking, or a related field.
• Experience handling payment transactions and merchant/customer concerns.
• Knowledge of payment processing, card payments, bank transfers, APMs, or Open Banking.
• Familiarity with Payneteasy or PaymentIQ is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of APIs and API documentation is preferred.
• Experience with ticketing platforms such as Zendesk, Jira, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite in Pasay City and on a shifting schedule.
