Remote Support Technician (AU Company)

Full-Time | Work From Home | Long-Term Role

Location: Philippines (Remote)

Working Hours: Australian Business Hours (with overlap required)

We are now expanding our support team and seeking a Philippines-based Remote Support Technician to work closely with our Australian technical team and customers.

This is a stable, long-term opportunity with an established international company.

Important: This is NOT an IT Helpdesk Role

You will not be troubleshooting laptops or printers.

Instead, you will support customers who use advanced positioning and machine control technologies in mining, construction, and civil projects. Training will be provided.

About the Role

As a Remote Support Technician, you will:

  • Provide remote technical support via phone and online platforms
  • Diagnose and resolve product-related issues
  • Deliver customer training sessions (remote and virtual)
  • Assist with system setup and configuration guidance
  • Manage and document support cases in D365
  • Recommend workflow improvements to customers
  • Complete accurate service documentation
  • Support internal and customer-facing technical initiatives

This is a customer-focused, solutions-driven role that plays a critical part in maintaining Aptella's reputation as a trusted technology partner.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary Range: PHP 60,000 95,000 (depending on experience)

Work From Home (must have stable internet and quiet workspace)

Working Hours

You must be available to work with Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT) with required daily overlap.

What We're Looking For

You are:

  • Technically minded (engineering, surveying, geospatial, mechanical, or similar background preferred)
  • Confident communicating in English (spoken and written)
  • Comfortable speaking with customers over phone and video
  • Organised and able to manage multiple support tickets
  • Solutions-focused and proactive
  • Willing to learn specialised technology systems

Advantageous (but not required):

  • Experience with D365 or CRM systems
  • Experience in surveying, construction tech, machine control, or geospatial tools
  • Experience supporting Australian or international clients

Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Minimum 50 Mbps stable internet connection
  • Backup internet preferred
  • Dedicated home workspace
  • Laptop/PC meeting modern performance standards
