Our client, a global supplier within the sausage and meat processing industry, is seeking a Technical Service Manager to assist with technical capabilities throughout the Asia region, with a focus on South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan. This role will be a key part of the regional commercial team, delivering technical consultancy to customers and technical expertise to the regional sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a food technology or food processing related education background with experience in the sausage manufacturing industry. This regional role will suit somebody who is comfortable working remotely, as an office-based role and will require regional travel on average one week per month.
As the Technical Services Manager, the main responsibility will serve as a technical liaison, providing rapid response to customer queries and resolving complex complaints through root-cause analysis.
This role will require regional travel 25% of the time, and will work with regional sales managers, and manufacturing / R&D facilities throughout the world.
