Duties and Responsibilities:
- Technical support and assistance to clients and other members of the Sales and Marketing Department
- Acts as point person to all professional organizations regarding product registration and evaluation
- Responsible for the training of newly-hired technical sales associates through technical lectures and hands-on product training
- Assists clients in their internal quality control programs through product presentations and hands-on training
- Addresses client's concern and technical inquiries on products
- Performs research and evaluation of potential products for acquisition
- Conducts troubleshooting, performance evaluation, and/or annual calibration of client's equipment
- Participates in conventions that promote company's products
- Participates in invitational speaking engagements organized by different universities, government agencies, and private sectors
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/ Biology/ Chemistry or other equivalent courses
- Experience in technical sales or related quality control functions is a plus
- Candidate must be highly independent, self-driven and output oriented
- Good PR and business communication skills
- Computer literate: knowledgeable in MS Office.
