Job Description

Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, sales teams, and manufacturing operations.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding products, processes, and performance concerns.
Investigate and manage customer claims, complaints, and quality-related issues.
Partner closely with sales teams to support customer retention and business growth initiatives.
Conduct customer visits across the Asia region to strengthen relationships and provide technical expertise.
Collaborate with production teams to address customer requirements and continuous improvement opportunities.
Provide recommendations and solutions to improve customer satisfaction and operational performance.
Support regional leadership and key stakeholders with technical and customer-related initiatives.
Deliver proactive customer service and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
Analyze customer feedback and identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to both customers and internal teams.
Support business development activities by providing technical expertise during customer engagements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Technical Service Manager should have:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in technical services, process support, manufacturing, quality, or customer-facing technical roles.
Experience within the paper, tobacco/cigarette, food & beverage, packaging, or equipment industries.
Strong customer management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience handling customer claims, complaints, and technical issue resolution.
Ability to bridge technical and commercial teams effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Asia.
Proven ability to work independently in a regional role.
