Technical Service Engineer
Location: Currimao, Philippines (covering surrounding areas)
Industry: Solar PV / Energy Storage / Inverter
Reporting to: Service Manager / Technical Support Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Provide after-sales technical support and on-site service for solar PV, energy storage systems, and inverters in the Currimao region;
- Perform installation guidance, commissioning, grid-connection support, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment;
- Respond promptly to customer service requests and ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction in line with SLA requirements;
- Diagnose technical issues both on-site and remotely, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve complex problems;
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation;
- Conduct basic technical training for customers and local partners when required;
- Support spare parts management and provide feedback on parts usage and demand.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related fields;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical service, after-sales support, or field engineering in solar PV, energy storage, inverters, or power equipment;
- Solid understanding of PV system architecture, inverter operation, and electrical fundamentals;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on-site;
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region;
- Good English communication skills (local language proficiency is a plus);
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with solar PV or energy storage projects in the Philippines;
- Familiarity with mainstream inverter or ESS brands;
- Experience in commissioning, grid connection, or O&M.
