We're looking for a hands-on Technical SEO Specialist who can take full ownership of Magento and Shopify eCommerce sites not just auditing, but executing changes directly inside live stores.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical SEO & Direct Implementation

Conduct in-depth technical audits across Magento and Shopify websites

Identify and resolve crawl, indexation, and performance issues

Implement meta tags, schema markup, canonical tags, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and internal linking improvements directly inside the CMS

Improve structured data and indexing strategies

Architecture & Performance Optimization

Optimize site structure, navigation, and URL hierarchy

Improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, CDN performance, and Core Web Vitals

Monitor site health using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and PageSpeed Insights

Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with developers and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented correctly

Track rankings, technical KPIs, and performance improvements over time

Stay updated with algorithm changes and Magento/Shopify best practices

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

3+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience in eCommerce

Proven experience implementing SEO fixes directly inside Magento / Magento 2

Strong Shopify experience

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and PHP

Experience modifying templates, structured data, or theme files

Conversationally fluent in English (you will communicate directly with the client)

Applicants without direct Magento implementation experience will not be considered.

Nice to Have:

Shopify Plus

CRO / A/B testing exposure

International SEO or multi-domain experience
