Technical Sales Manager (Advanced Materials)

Key Responsibilities

• Key Account Management - Magnetic Data Storage : Develop new MDS accounts, manage RFQs, customer relationships, pricing, negotiations, and introduce thin film materials/solutions.

• New Business Development: Identify new customers, applications, and business opportunities across MDS/HDD, Semiconductor, Electronics, Photovoltaic, and Decorative Coating industries.

• Market & Sales Planning: Monitor market trends, competitors, customer needs, and provide sales forecasts, demand planning, and market intelligence.

• Credit & Order Management: Monitor customer payments, coordinate with Finance and Customer Service, and ensure smooth order processing and delivery.

• Competitive Analysis: Track competitor pricing, products, sourcing models, market positioning, and customer segments.

• Technical & Complaint Management: Coordinate with Quality, Application Engineering, and R&D teams to resolve customer technical issues and complaints.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5-8 years of sales/business development experience in thin film materials, vacuum coating, semiconductor materials, or advanced materials.

• Strong knowledge of thin film deposition, PVD, sputtering, evaporation, and coating materials.

• Proven track record in technical/industrial consumables sales, with annual sales of USD 3M+.

• Experience in key account management, new customer acquisition, RFQ, pricing negotiation, contract discussion, and sales forecasting.

• Experience with MDS/HDD, Semiconductor, Electronics, PV, or Decorative Coating industries.

• Willingness to travel.
