Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Manila. You will bridge the gap between
sales and engineering — supporting both direct enterprise deals and our partner channel with deep
technical expertise. From running product demonstrations and guiding proofs of concept, to owning
customer onboarding and providing hands-on technical support, you will be a trusted advisor throughout
the customer lifecycle.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role for someone who is equally comfortable presenting to a CTO
and digging into an API integration
Key Responsibilities
Direct Sales Support
• Partner with the sales team throughout the full enterprise sales cycle — from qualification and discovery through to technical validation and close
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical deep-dives tailored to each prospect's a architecture and use case
• Lead proof-of-concept (POC) engagements: scope requirements, configure environments, and guide customers to a successful outcome
• Develop and present ROI analyses and technical business cases that translate platform capabilities into measurable customer value
• Respond to technical sections of RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
Partner Sales Enablement
• Provide pre-sales technical support to system integrators and reseller partners — helping them demo, scope, and position the platform confidently
• Train partner technical teams on the platform's architecture, APIs, and deployment options
• Develop and maintain partner-facing technical assets: integration guides, demo environments,
reference architectures, and FAQs
• Join co-sell calls and partner-led POCs to provide expert technical backing and accelerate deal velocity
• Serve as a technical liaison between partner delivery teams and our internal engineering team Customer
Onboarding & Technical Success
• Own the technical onboarding experience for new customers — from environment setup and API integration through to first production deployment
• Run structured onboarding sessions (virtual and on-site) to walk customers through platform setup, configuration, and best practices
• Identify and resolve technical blockers early in the customer journey to reduce time-to-value
• Document customer configurations and integration patterns; contribute to a growing library of onboarding playbooks
• Act as a technical escalation point for post-sales support, coordinating with engineering as needed
Feedback & Collaboration
• Capture and relay customer and partner feedback to product and engineering teams — contributing to the product roadmap
• Collaborate with the sales team on account strategy, pipeline reviews, and go-to-market planning
• Represent the company at technical meetups, community events, and industry conferences across the Philippines and Southeast Asia
Qualifications & Experience
Required
• 3+ years of experience in a technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions engineering role — ideally in enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML
• Hands-on technical background: comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and scripting in Python or similar
• Proven track record of delivering technical demonstrations and POCs that convert to closed deals
• Strong customer-facing communication skills — able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Experience working with or alongside partner/channel ecosystems (system integrators, resellers, or consulting firms)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Filipino language skills a strong advantage
Preferred
• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, inference frameworks, or agent-based systems
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment with an open-source-to-enterprise go-to-market model
• Background in developer tooling, LLM APIs, or data platform products
• Existing network of enterprise technology contacts in the Philippines or broader Southeast Asia region
• Experience supporting or managing technical onboarding programmes at scale
