Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Metro Manila. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing client relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored technical solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing sales portfolios, conducting product demonstrations, offering technical support, and identifying opportunities to scale client business operations. Ensuring efficient communication between clients and internal teams will also be a key aspect of this role.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing specific projects, customers, and related projects.
  • Take a role in the strategic planning including sales and marketing with appropriate inputs, outputs, and verification activities.
  • Liaising with clients to ensure the quality of products and services satisfaction is achieved while seeking out new business opportunities.
  • Participate in approved staff training programs.
  • Provide input to sales teams, service to customers and ensure that all products supplied are complete and projects achieve the planned profit.
  • Ensure that the scope of work is documented on every project.
  • Continuous updating and upgrading of product technical knowledge being offered.
  • Carry out duties in a professional manner and with an emphasis on meeting the customer's reasonable expectations to foster good customer relations and promote future projects.
  • Actively seek feedback from customers and project teams reflecting on the performance of the team and applying knowledge learning principles.
  • Penetrate new clients/accounts.
  • Develop existing clients/accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products to customers and prospective customers.
  • Review and assist customers to assess their product needs/ RFQ and to determine customer specification requirements.
  • Secure and renew orders and coordinate delivery.
  • Lead order development
  • Prepare proposals or quotations based on customer request.
  • Regularly interact with the customer for updating, programming, priorities, standards, and best practices leading to better customer relationship.
  • Help customers solve problems by suggesting value-engineering solutions related to the product and order requirements.
  • Provide detailed tracking reports for account penetration, order management, account servicing, and other data/reports that may be asked.
  • Report to the Superior daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed.
  • Develop key account relationships that deliver measurable results.
  • Do research and Identify business opportunities by monitoring industry trends, market activities and competitor activities.
  • Work closely with customers to meet their needs and requirements.
  • Establish Sales strategy and generate new sales.
  • Prepare bid documents, proposals.
  • Make presentations to engineers, architects, and purchasers.
