Technical Sales Engineer (Mindanao)

Summary

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth by promoting and selling air compressors, auxiliary equipment, and industrial cooling systems within the assigned territory. The role requires a technically skilled sales professional who can develop new business, manage customer relationships, provide tailored solutions, and support project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell industrial equipment and cooling systems within the assigned territory.
• Conduct client visits, generate new leads, and identify business opportunities.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and layout drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and supervise installation progress.
• Manage sales activities, report lost orders, and support payment collection.
• Conduct technical presentations, customer seminars, and product demonstrations.
• Work with service, engineering, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor competitor activities and improve product knowledge.

Key Skills Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Technical Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within an industrial environment.
• Experience in water treatment, food and beverage, pumps, process equipment, or industrial machinery is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets and developing new business.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license and willing to travel extensively.
• Experience handling Mindanao accounts is an advantage.

Location

Onsite work setup, with reporting location in CDO, or Davao, depending on where the candidate is based.
