Technical Project Manager

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead projects and initiatives that enable our clients to go from data to decisions. This role demands more than just project delivery — it's about partnering across functions, enabling people, and aligning efforts toward a shared vision.

As a PM, you will be collaborating across multiple technical domains to iteratively deliver holistic and scalable solutions. Our projects typically involve teams across data engineering, AI, software engineering, ERP systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

You will be at the forefront of helping our clients navigate change by incorporating structured change management practices that support seamless transitions within their organization.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Delivery (see next section for more details)

Act as a trusted advisor

• Surface industry best practices, benchmarks, and lessons learned to guide clients
• Recommend pragmatic, value-driven approaches and technology options

Champion continuous improvement

• Embed short feedback loops, both internally and with clients, to refine deliverables
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement aligned corrective actions
• Drive constant improvement in our approach and methodologies
• Foster a blameless culture to facilitate the open flow of peer feedback

Spearhead AI-driven enhancements

• Advise on clients AI adoption and roadmap
• Design pilots, measure outcomes, and scale successful experiments
• Identify opportunities to apply AI tools within QADworks

Contribute to people management

• Coach and give feedback to foster high-performance aligned with our culture
• Advocate for our core values and ensure they're reflected in every interaction
• Coach and mentor cross-functional contributors to elevate performance and reinforce company values

End-to-End Project Delivery

Navigating a project from kickoff through closure involves making decisions that manage scope, schedule, and budget — but ultimately optimizes on business value and quality. Below are the key pieces of a successful delivery.

Provide strategic advisory and planning

• Facilitate workshops to uncover client needs, pain points, and success metrics
• Facilitate workshops to gather scope, detailed requirements, estimation, and resourcing
• Recommend the optimal mix of skills, tools, and phasing
• Map current-state processes and data flows; perform gap analysis to define future-state requirements

Ensure technical feasibility & execution quality

• Partner with engineers to translate complex solutions into maintainable architectures for mission-critical operations
• Work with cross-functional teams to sequence work in line with business value, dependencies, and resource availability
• Implement peer reviews and solution health-checks to uphold enterprise standards

Manage stakeholders with effective, open communication

• Engage sponsors, technical leads, engineers, and third parties to remain in constant alignment and awareness
• Serve as the liaison in balancing client vision, internal capabilities, and third-party inputs
• Deliver executive-level briefings and tailored status reports, highlighting not just progress but strategic implications
• Facilitate decision-gate meetings, presenting clear options and recommendations

Oversee contract and financial details

• Translate outcomes into clear, detailed SOWs with scope, deliverables, timelines, and assumptions
• Ensure SOWs align with business objectives and set realistic expectations for both QADworks and the client
• Advise clients on budget optimization by identifying cost-saving opportunities in tools, processes, or staffing
• Maintain transparent budget reporting, ROI tracking, and variance reporting to reinforce trust

Manage risk early and often

• Diagnose challenges early and frame options in terms of risk, cost, and ROI
• Lead risk-identification workshops, quantify impacts, and co-develop mitigation plans with stakeholders
• Ensure each risk is constantly managed and understood

Enable End-users and Internal Teams

• Document case studies, playbooks, and white-glove how-tos for both internal teams and client stakeholders
• Mentor client teams on processes, tools, and governance to ensure sustainable handover
• Continuously refine utilization of PM, collaboration, and AI-enablement platforms—and train clients on best practices
