Job summary:
We're looking for a highly disciplined and technical Project Manager to be the execution backbone of our R&D team. This critical role leads the coordinated development and launch of all new and renovated products, ensuring technical readiness, quality, and speed-to-market.
This is not a traditional PMO roleyou will be deeply embedded in the technical process, ensuring formulations, regulatory compliance, and packaging are locked and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Technical Execution: Translate product briefs into actionable R&D project plans with clear, time-bound milestones and deliverables.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Facilitate syncs and manage dependencies across Formulation Scientists, Regulatory, Packaging, QA, and Supply Chain teams.
- Risk Management & Quality Gates: Proactively identify and resolve technical risks (e.g., stability failures, lead time issues) and enforce technical stage-gate requirements (formulation lock, packaging freeze).
- Discipline & Documentation: Ensure high discipline in execution, maintain project trackers, lead post-mortems, and guarantee all technical documentation (specs, claims, stability reports) is complete for launch.
- Accelerate Delivery: Identify process bottlenecks, drive lessons-learned reviews, and implement changes to improve R&D efficiency and shorten product lead times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in R&D, Technical Commercialization, or Project Management within the FMCG, Healthcare, or related technical industries.
- Track Record: Proven success managing complex, multi-disciplinary innovation projects from concept through launch.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related technical field. (PMP certification is a plus).
Core Competencies:
- Strong technical understanding of R&D processes (formulation, regulatory, packaging).
- Expertise in risk anticipation, scenario planning, and issue resolution.
- Excellent communicationable to translate technical status into clear business language.
- Proficient with project tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Gantt Charts).
