Responsibilities:
- Increase baseline of customers through consistent product promotion and client prospecting and upselling opportunities to facilitate sales of company products/services
- Conducts product presentations and provides product training on Food Safety Products to the customers and creates presentation materials and provides in-depth training to help the team to be technically competent.
- Perform actual product demonstration to be able to efficiently promote existing and new product lines, conducts product validations and assists customers in the actual performance of parallel tests in hygiene and microbiological analyses, provides ancillary services to customers through seminars on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Basic Microbiology Course, Food Safety Culture, Environmental Monitoring Program, and SSOP.
- Establish rapport anf maintain good business relationships with existing and potential accounts. Create and submit marketing programs and sales contracts to promote customer loyalty and ensure guaranteed sales from identified accounts and conduct sales negotiations to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals.
- Plan, accomplish, and submit weekly sales call plan and monthly sales forecast, prepare and submit sales reports necessary to monitor business and achieve sales growth and plans and submit weekly/monthly technical training and plots the schedules of annual conventions and conferences in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Provides after-sales service/s to customers as necessary including but not limited to product installation, and assistance on the proper product application and/or usage.
- Develop key opinion leaders and establish a relationship with academe/organization that has great influence in the food industry, perform similar services the company may require from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a four-year course in Food Technology, Biology, or Microbiology
- At least 1 year of sales experience in the related field is an advantage
- Strong personal skills and technical skills with the ability to easily gain product knowledge and experience demonstrating successful customer relationship management. Must be able to converse with clients using appropriate language and expression
- Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills in Filipino and English
- Self-motivated, dynamic with good influencing skills and can provide answers and solutions to clients technical issues
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills to ensure KPIs are achieved
- Fast learner with the ability to easily gain product knowledge
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft applications and CRM
