General Description of the Position:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Operations Manager based in Pasig. The Technical Operations Manager is the firm's systems-driven execution authority, responsible for ensuring that site delivery is consistent, buildable, cost-controlled, and aligned with Plontur's technical standards. This role exists to turn field experience into repeatable systems, bridging Studio intent and Site execution while owning technical outcomes, margin protection, and quality enforcement across active projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Systems Architecture & Standardization

  1. Build, document, and maintain the Plontur Technical Playbook, SOPs, and site standards
  2. Develop master templates for site reporting, punchlists, audits, and technical reviews
  3. Establish a continuous Lessons Learned loop, converting site issues into updated standards

Technical Project Ownership

  1. Serve as the primary on-ground technical authority to ensure that the constructed deliverable aligns with the specified technical requirements
  2. Take full accountability for technical execution, handover readiness, and quality acceptance
  3. Resolve complex site technical issues in coordination with the Director

Quantity, Cost & Proposal Governance

  1. Validate quantities, BOQs, and actual material usage to protect margins
  2. Audit subcontractor accomplishments prior to payment approval
  3. Support proposal creation and pricing accuracy through verified quantity surveying

Quality Control & Risk Mitigation

  1. Enforce zero-compromise standards for workmanship, safety, and execution quality
  2. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate risks early
  3. Issue corrective actions or stop-work directives for non-compliant works

Strategic Team & Cross-Lane Integration

  1. Serve as the technical bridge between Studio, Site, and Construction Admin
  2. Translate design intent into buildable, cost-effective execution strategies
  3. Mentor and develop technical team members using standardized systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in construction execution, technical supervision, or site leadership
  • Proven expertise in systems building, BOQ validation, and margin protection
  • Strong authority on site with sound judgment in quality, risk, and constructability
  • Systems-oriented leader capable of scaling standards across multiple projects
