Job Summary
We are looking for a
Technical Operations Manager – Food Innovation to oversee the successful commercialization of new food products and process improvements. This role ensures that product innovations are operationally feasible, standardized, and consistently executed across commissary and store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate new product concepts for commercial scalability and operational readiness.
- Develop and maintain technical manuals, production workflows, and operating procedures.
- Manage the accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM), recipes, and product specifications.
- Collaborate with Research & Development, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Quality teams throughout product development and implementation.
- Lead Technical Assistants and SAP Support personnel to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and product consistency.
- Support pilot testing, product launches, and technology transfer activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for operational and product-related concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in food manufacturing, product development, or technical operations.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of process standardization, BOM management, and food production systems.
- Experience in commissary, restaurant, or QSR operations is highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
