We are looking for an experienced Engineering People Manager to lead, mentor, and grow a pod of 8–12 Site Reliability Engineers (SREs / DevOps) operating in a 24/7 technical environment.
Role Overview:
- Location: Mandaluyong City (On-site / Shift Rotations)
- Schedule: 24/7 Rotating Shifts (Must be willing to rotate across all shift bands, including night shifts)
- Core Focus: Pod management, junior engineer mentorship (60–70% of pod), shift rota execution, and technical capability building.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years in SRE or DevOps, with 2+ years in a direct people management or team lead role.
- Strong baseline technical knowledge in Linux, Kubernetes, public cloud, observability tools, and incident management.
- Proven track record of coaching and developing junior engineers into mid/senior roles.
- Hands-on experience managing 24/7 operational shifts, rotas, and team wellbeing/fatigue.
- Strong leadership, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and comfort handling performance management directly.
