Technical Manager - Esports

Main Duties and Responsibilities

. Oversee the designing and deploying of technical infrastructure for offline esports events

Set up, configure, and maintain all on-site broadcast systems, including video/audio routing, encoders,

cameras, intercoms, and network connectivity

Coordinate with production, stage, lighting, IT/network, electrical, and venue operations teams to

integrate and optimize technical setups

o Monitor technical systems in real-time during events, troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain

uninterrupted broadcast operations

Manage redundancies, backup systems, and failover workflows for all broadcast infrastructure

o Document technical setups, network diagrams, incident reports, and recommendations to improve

future event infrastructure

Qualifications

o At least College Level or equivalent experience

At least 5 years of experience in live production support, broadcast operations, or technical event roles

(preferably in esports, live sports, or live events)

Strong understanding of audio/video signal flow, encoding/decoding, and live broadcast technologies

Hands-on experience with broadcast hardware and software (e.g., switchers, encoders, cameras,

intercoms, routing systems)

Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and make quick technical decisions during live events

. Flexibility to work onsite during offline events, including irregular hours and weekend schedules
