Job Description

The Technical Lead / Senior Full Stack .NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions while providing technical leadership to the development team. This role combines hands-on development, technical leadership, engineering excellence, mentorship, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can influence technical direction, improve engineering practices, and help elevate the overall capability and maturity of the team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Architecture & Technical Leadership

·      Contribute to the design and evolution of application architecture and technical solutions.

·      Participate in technical design discussions and architecture reviews.

·      Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

·      Balance business requirements, delivery timelines, maintainability, and scalability.

Database Design & Optimization

·      Design and support scalable database solutions and data models.

·      Review and improve query performance, indexing strategies, and database efficiency.

·      Promote data integrity, maintainability, and scalability best practices.

·      Support database-related improvements as applications and business requirements evolve.

Full Stack Development (Hands-On)

·      Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies.

·      Build and maintain responsive UI components using Angular, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, or similar modern front-end technologies.

·      Design and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

·      Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

·      Participate in modernization and refactoring initiatives.

Engineering Standards & Code Quality

·      Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, engineering practices, and overall team technical maturity.

·      Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.

·      Conduct code reviews to improve quality, maintainability, and knowledge sharing.

·      Advocate for clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

Team Enablement & Mentorship

·      Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, supporting their technical growth and productivity.

·      Elevate team capability through guidance and knowledge sharing.

·      Assist in technical planning, estimation, and solution reviews.

·      Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.

Innovation & Future Readiness

·      Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and development efficiency.

·      Support modernization efforts and technical debt reduction initiatives.

·      Explore emerging technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and automation opportunities that can improve engineering productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential Skills:

·      6-7+ years of professional experience in .NET application development.

·      5+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET technologies.

·      Experience designing scalable application architecture and backend services.

·      Experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives.

·      Advanced SQL skills including query optimization, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.

·      Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and maintainable software architecture.

·      Proven experience in code reviews and enforcing development standards.

·      Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and system integrations.

·      Strong working knowledge of Git / Bitbucket and CI/CD practices.

·      Ability to mentor and guide developers and support team productivity.

·      Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

·      Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.

·      Experience leading technical initiatives or system modernization projects.

Good-to-Have Skills:

·      Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

·      Experience modernizing applications and openness to leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve productivity and solution delivery.

·      Experience with system automation, integrations, or workflow platforms.

·      Experience in cloud-based environments or modern deployment practices.

·      Preferably residing near Alabang, as the role may require occasional travel to the office for face-to-face meetings.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

·      Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Power Automate, or similar tools.
