Role Overview
A growing technology solutions organization is seeking a
Technical Lead (Presales & Delivery) to provide end-to-end technical leadership across solution design, presales engagements, and project delivery. This role ensures a seamless transition from deal qualification to implementation, while maintaining high standards in architecture, execution, and governance.
In addition to technical leadership, the role may assume
project management responsibilities during delivery phases, ensuring timelines, resources, and outcomes are effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities
Presales & Solutioning
- Support presales activities including solution design, technical validation, and effort estimation.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, high-level solution architectures.
- Collaborate with sales and stakeholders to position technically viable and competitive solutions.
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Define system architecture and delivery approaches aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in system design, scalability, and performance.
- Provide technical direction across the full software development lifecycle.
Delivery & Governance
- Lead development and/or maintenance teams following project award.
- Establish team structure, roles, and delivery frameworks to support execution.
- Provide technical oversight during implementation, ensuring quality and alignment with design.
Project Management (as needed)
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee project delivery when acting in a Project Manager capacity.
- Manage timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay current with emerging technologies, including AI frameworks and cloud platforms.
- Recommend improvements to architecture, tools, and delivery methodologies.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with backend frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL
- Familiarity with messaging and caching technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, Redis)
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience working with Linux-based environments, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies such as Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Qualifications And Experience
- 5–10+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles
- Proven experience in presales support, solutioning, and delivery execution
- Strong background in designing and implementing scalable, enterprise-grade systems
- Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
