Technical Lead Avaloq

Responsibilities:

• Plans and oversees the development and execution of specific IT development projects.
• Identifies resources required to implement projects and oversees actual project execution.
• Coordinates all aspects of work for the successful completion of the project.
• Becomes very familiar and proficient with the applications being managed.
• Learns the business side of the applications being managed.
• Integrates programs and subsystems to develop product/facility.
• Manages the technical side of user acceptance tests.
• Implements products and facilities.
• Provides technical consultation with users.
• Solves system-related production problems.
• Monitors and measures the performance of subordinates.
• Understands and adheres to security standards in accordance with the Bank's Information Security Policy.
• Protects information security assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference.
• Reports any witnessed information violation to the proper authority for investigation.
• Reports and suggests correction for any perceived information security policy or procedure weakness to the proper authority for assessment and action.
• Codes applications securely, taking into account the Security Coding Guidelines as documented in the Information Security Website.

Skillset Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in two or more of the following applications/platforms/tools:
• Avaloq or any Wealth Management System
• Guava or any Treasury System
• Prospero or any Trust System
• Oracle, RedHat, Linux
• MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, any RDBMS
• Windows, PHP, Perl, Java, JavaScript, HTML
• Any web programming tool
• SP.Net, VB.Net, Unix/Windows Shell
• Familiarity and work experience in banking applications and operations is an advantage.
