About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Technical Expert in Repair and Maintenance of Heavy Equipment to join our specialized maintenance team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with hands-on expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and commercial trucks in compliance with international quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and hydraulic systems in heavy equipment and trucks
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and ISO standards
- Conduct equipment inspections and document findings in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements
- Troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission issues
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and service logs
- Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards per ISO 14001:2015
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks (minimum 5+ years recommended)
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems)
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems)
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel if required
- Certification in heavy equipment repair or diesel engine technology (TESDA NC II)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fleet maintenance management systems
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques
- Background in a regulated or certified manufacturing environment
