Job Description

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Technical Expert – Printing Industry to support our inspection, testing, and certification services across the printing sector. This role requires deep technical expertise in printing operations and a strong understanding of relevant quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance on printing industry processes and best practices
Support audit and certification activities for printing companies
Assess compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements
Conduct technical evaluations of pre-press, printing, binding, and finishing operations
Collaborate with clients to identify process improvements and risk mitigation strategies
Prepare technical reports and recommendations based on industry standards
Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams and clients

Required Qualifications

Professional Experience

Minimum 5+ years of working experience in printing companies (operational, technical, or quality roles)
Demonstrated expertise in printing industry processes and operations

Technical Knowledge

In-depth Knowledge Of Core Printing Industry Processes, Including

Newspaper Printing – offset, digital, or flexographic printing techniques
Commercial/General Printing – color management, substrate handling, finishing
Pre-press & Pre-media Services – file preparation, color separation, plate making, digital workflows
Binding & Related Services – collating, stitching, perfect binding, case binding, finishing operations

Standards & Compliance Expertise

Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems)
Working knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems)
Working knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems)
Ability to assess compliance and identify gaps in printing operations
