Technical Engineer

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent field.

Work Experience: At least 1-2 years of working experience in manufacturing operations, preferably with supervisory capacity.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and site operations management.
• Ability to implement systems, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Strong leadership, teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manpower planning and allocation optimization to improve workforce efficiency and reduce direct labor costs.

Job Description:

The Technical Engineer will oversee and support the technical and operational activities of various manufacturing business units, ensuring efficient production, quality performance, and compliance with established systems and standards. This position will work closely with the Head of Operations and site teams to implement process improvements, optimize manpower allocation, and drive productivity and cost efficiency. The role will also facilitate training, conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions, monitor operational metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The Technical Engineer will collaborate with different teams to resolve operational concerns, improve quality and yield, and ensure that customer requirements and business objectives are consistently met.

Process Improvement & Quality Management:

• Identify and implement process and operational improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead quality improvement projects focused on quality, yield, cost, and delivery.
• Address production and quality issues based on customer requirements.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

• Analyze production and quality performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop practical solutions to operational and production concerns.
• Evaluate manpower requirements and optimize workforce allocation.
• Identify opportunities for productivity improvement and direct labor cost savings.

Project Management & Leadership Skills:

• Create and execute project schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Lead and coordinate operational initiatives across different business units.
• Train and develop key operations personnel, including Team Leaders, Supervisors, Clerks, and Leadmen.
• Foster teamwork, discipline, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Safety, Compliance & Standards:

• Enforce company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with established operational and quality standards.
• Promote discipline and accountability among the workforce.
