About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and analytical Technical Engineer, Automation & Operations Enablement to help improve how our teams deliver AI data collection programs.

This role focuses on automating manual processes, building internal tools, connecting systems, improving data flows, and removing operational bottlenecks. You will work closely with Delivery, Production, Quality, Product, Engineering, Community, and Vendor teams to identify opportunities where technology can make our operations faster, more efficient, and more scalable.

You will translate day-to-day operational challenges into practical technical solutions. This may include developing automation scripts, building internal tools, integrating APIs, automating reports and workflows, supporting data ingestion pipelines, and implementing automated quality checks.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on technical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a genuine interest in using technology to simplify and automate how teams work.

What You'll Do

Automation & Process Improvement

• Identify repetitive and manual operational processes that can be automated.
• Develop scripts, utilities, and workflow automations that reduce manual effort.
• Automate processes related to data processing, validation, reporting, participant tracking, device management, project monitoring, and quality checks.
• Build reusable automation solutions that can support multiple projects.
• Monitor automation performance and identify opportunities for further improvement.

Internal Tools & Operational Enablement

• Develop and maintain internal tools that help operational teams work more efficiently.
• Improve existing workflows through scripting, integrations, and automation.
• Support operational teams with technical solutions that improve project readiness, reporting, and execution.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical solutions.
• Work directly with users to understand requirements and improve tools based on feedback.

APIs & System Integrations

• Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems, collection platforms, reporting tools, and external applications.
• Work with REST APIs and webhooks to connect business processes.
• Support automated data transfers between systems.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate with Product or Engineering teams when needed.
• Document integrations, workflows, and technical procedures.

Data & Ingestion Support

• Support data ingestion, processing, validation, and monitoring workflows.
• Develop automated checks to identify data quality issues.
• Support reliable and timely movement of collection and operational data between systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting data pipeline issues.

Product & Technology Support

• Work with Product and Technical Delivery teams to test and implement new tools and technologies.
• Participate in proof-of-concept initiatives and UAT.
• Provide technical feedback based on operational requirements.
• Support the rollout and adoption of new tools across operational teams.
• Identify gaps in existing technology and recommend practical improvements.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in software development, automation, systems integration, technical operations, data engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience developing scripts, automations, or internal tools.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
• Understanding of data processing, ETL, or data ingestion workflows.
• Experience automating business or operational processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
